It took me a while until I got what you meant, to me spar-kasse is natural. It did make me chuckle though, good job!
I'd argue that if it wasn't for the BMW and the MB A-Class these pictures could be 25 years old. The colors, the depressingly drab buildings, the Opel, it all looks like it's from another era.

A 2-door Rekord Caravan!!! Those are real unicorns! A 2-door sedan (no Coupé) was my first RWD-experience. Bad experience. Leave it!!!

It's the reason it survived this long. It's a one owner car, owned by an elderly person now too old to drive. People born after WW2 didn't get an automatic in Germany in the 80s.
